This page describes the SafeAssist website, dashboard, and API. It does not cover the Chrome extension. For that, see Filler extension privacy.
Who we are

What SafeAssist is
SafeAssist is a password manager and assistant vault. You save website logins and keys in your vault. You can use them yourself or let a connected assistant use a login or key for one task without handing them a copy to keep.
What we collect
- Account identity: Email and profile details from sign-in (for example Google, GitHub, or email through Auth0).
- Vault content: Website logins, usernames, passwords, API keys, and related labels you choose to store.
- Usage and billing: Plan, trial status, how often your assistant uses saved logins, and payment-related metadata needed to bill your account.
- Service logs: Basic technical logs such as IP address, browser type, request times, and errors. We use these to run and secure the service.
How we use your data
We use your data to provide SafeAssist: sign you in, store and retrieve your saved logins and keys, let your assistant act with your permission, bill your subscription, and keep the service secure.
We work with service providers that process data on our behalf, including:
- Auth0 for authentication and account identity.
- Stripe for payments and subscription billing.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that run our websites, APIs, and databases.
These providers may only use your data to deliver their services to us.
What we do not do
- Sell your personal data.
- Share your saved passwords or private keys with other customers.
Retention and your choices
We keep your vault content while your account is active. You can update or delete saved logins from the dashboard. To close your account or request a copy of your data, contact us at damon@howlinwolfapps.com and we will delete your account and vault data, subject to any records we must keep for billing or legal reasons.

We may update this page when SafeAssist changes. We will post the new version here with a new last updated date.
