Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SafeAssist websites, apps, browser extensions, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are
SafeAssist is operated by Howlin Wolf Applications ("we," "us," or "SafeAssist"). The Service is offered at callvault.dev and related domains we control.
Questions about these Terms: damon@howlinwolfapps.com.
2. What SafeAssist is
SafeAssist is a password manager and an assistant vault. You can save website logins and program keys for your own use. You can also let an authorized assistant use a saved login or key for a single task without giving the assistant a long-lived copy of your secrets.
The Service is an early, experimental product. Features, limits, and availability may change. We may add, change, or remove functionality as we learn from real use.
3. Personal use
SafeAssist personal plans are for individual, non-commercial use. You may not resell access, run a business's automated workloads through your account, or share logins with people outside your household account.
4. Eligibility and accounts
You must be 18 or older to create an account or use the Service. If the age of majority where you live is higher than 18, you must be at least that age. We do not allow anyone under 18 to use the Service, and we may close any account we believe belongs to someone under 18. You must also be able to enter a binding contract, and you may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law.
You create an account through our identity provider (Auth0), for example with email, Google, or GitHub. You are responsible for your sign-in credentials and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at damon@howlinwolfapps.com if you believe your account was accessed without permission.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything illegal or to violate someone else's rights.
- Abuse, harass, or attempt to disrupt the Service, including denial-of-service attacks, probing, or scraping SafeAssist websites or APIs without our written permission.
- Use vault contents, assistant access, or brokered credentials to break into accounts, bypass security on third-party sites, spam, phish, or commit fraud.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service except where applicable law gives you that right despite this limitation.
- Resell or sublicense the Service unless we agree in writing.
Lite and Personal plans have no monthly call limits for normal personal use. We may apply short burst throttles or pause program-key API calls if we detect unusual automated volume. Browser extension website logins are not affected. Contact support if you are running load tests or other high-volume automation.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these rules or put the Service or other users at risk.
5. Fees, trials, and billing
Paid features are billed through Stripe. Prices and plan details shown on our pricing page at the time you subscribe apply to your subscription unless we notify you of a change as described below.
- Trial: New accounts may start a free seven-day Personal trial. Stripe collects a payment method up front. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription converts to Personal at the price shown on our pricing page. One trial per email, GitHub account, and payment method, as described in our FAQ.
- Paid plans: After trial, you may subscribe to Lite or Personal with recurring fees. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method on the billing cycle you select.
- Referrals: The SafeAssist referral program gives you and a friend one free month each when the friend becomes a paying Lite or Personal customer after their trial. Your reward posts only after the friend's first paid charge clears and the launch seven-day refund window ends. If the friend receives a refund on that first charge, you do not earn a credit. Referral credits stack up to twelve free months per calendar year per workspace. We block self-referrals and other abuse, including the same email, sign-in identity, GitHub account, or payment card. We may change or end the program in these Terms.
- Trial end: Trial access ends when the seven-day period ends or when you upgrade, whichever comes first. Unused time does not roll over.
Taxes may apply where required. Except where law requires otherwise, or a limited launch refund applies as described below, fees are non-refundable. You may cancel a subscription according to the controls in your dashboard or by contacting us; cancellation stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period already paid, except as stated in the Refunds section.
Refunds
For a limited launch period, Howlin Wolf Applications offers a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first paid charge with SafeAssist. That includes your first paid subscription month and, if it was your first paid amount, a paid trial signup fee. Contact damon@howlinwolfapps.com within 7 days of that charge to request a refund. If we approve the refund, the payment goes back to your original payment method within several business days. This launch guarantee does not apply to renewals, overage charges, or later subscription months. We may end or change this offer by updating these Terms.
6. Your content and vault data
You keep ownership of logins, keys, and other data you store in SafeAssist ("Your Content"). You grant us the limited rights we need to host, encrypt, back up, and process Your Content to operate the Service and to carry out actions you or your authorized assistants request.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you store and for complying with third-party sites' terms when your assistant uses Your Content on your behalf.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information. The SafeAssist Filler extension privacy page applies to the Filler browser extension. Those policies are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOWLIN WOLF APPLICATIONS AND ITS SUPPLIERS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT YOUR CONTENT OR CREDENTIALS WILL NEVER BE LOST, CORRUPTED, OR MISUSED DESPITE REASONABLE SAFEGUARDS.
You use SafeAssist at your own risk. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups and for decisions you make about which assistants may access which vault items.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOWLIN WOLF APPLICATIONS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID SAFEASSIST FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD $100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limits. In those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Security and encryption risks
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOWLIN WOLF APPLICATIONS AND SAFEASSIST DO NOT WARRANT THAT ENCRYPTION, KEYS, OR OTHER SECURITY MEASURES CANNOT FAIL OR BE BYPASSED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOWLIN WOLF APPLICATIONS AND SAFEASSIST WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM ENCRYPTION FAILURE, KEY COMPROMISE, DATA BREACH, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, LOST, LEAKED, OR EXPOSED CREDENTIALS OR API KEYS, USE OR MISUSE OF STORED CREDENTIALS BY ANY AI ASSISTANT, AGENT, OR THIRD-PARTY TOOL YOU CONNECT OR AUTHORIZE, OR ACCOUNT TAKEOVERS OF YOUR THIRD-PARTY ACCOUNTS, INCLUDING INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, AND LOST-PROFIT OR LOST-DATA DAMAGES.
ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED IS SUBJECT TO THE AGGREGATE CAP IN THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY SECTION ABOVE (THE GREATER OF THE FEES YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD $100)).
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHOOSING WHICH ASSISTANTS GET ACCESS, KEEPING YOUR OWN ACCOUNT SECURE, AND ROTATING CREDENTIALS IF YOU SUSPECT COMPROMISE.
11. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Howlin Wolf Applications and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the Service, (b) Your Content, (c) your misuse of credentials or assistant access, including actions taken on third-party sites using vault data you authorized, or (d) your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we must do so to comply with law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including fees owed, disclaimers, limits of liability, and indemnity) will survive.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we may also notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use after the effective date of changes means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any paid subscription.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You and SafeAssist agree that the state and federal courts located in Indiana will have exclusive venue over disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
15. General
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Howlin Wolf Applications regarding the Service. If any provision is held invalid, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
